A good four piece Art Deco silver tea service of oval baluster shape on a flat base comprising teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and milk jug, the tea and coffee pot with carved ivory handles and finials. Coffee pot 7.5 inches high ( 19 cm ). 59 troy ounces (1834grams ) gross weight. Made in Sheffield 1936/7 by Emile Viner. Excellent condition, ivory handles and finials with usual stress cracks. See T.895 under “Salvers and Trays” oval silver 2 handled tray by Emile Viner 1931, this would go well with the tea service.
