L. 478: A mid Victorian silver claret jug of baluster shape on a colet foot with a tubular neck, double scroll handle and tripple stepped hinged lid, the body intricatly engraved with circular scrollwork panels. Central beaded edged vacant cartouche. 10.2 inches tall. 24 troy ounces. Made in London 1867 by Stephen Smith.
