N.288: A mid-Victorian ovoid shaped silver claret jug on a circular stepped foot, with a plain scroll handle, slender neck and domed hinged lid with ball finial , engraved throughout with a delicate fern pattern. Vacant cartouche to the front. 12 inches high. Made in London 1869 by J.T.
