L.660 Georgian Silver Tea Caddy

L.660: An early George III drum shaped silver tea caddy with a flat base and flush hinged lid with seed pod finial. The body and lid profusely later decorated with flowers and scroll work, vacant car touche to either side. 4.2 inches diameter, 4.4 inches high, key hole to front, but no lock. Made in London 1768 by John Henry Vere & William Lutwyche.
