L.494: A pair of modern heavy quality commemorative silver gilt wine coasters, the detachable sides pierced and decorated with lion's masks, fleur des lys, scrolls and ropetwist, the hardwood bases each set with a silver-gilt armorial. Numbered 43 and 44 of a limited edition of 400 commissioned from the Aurum Designs of London to celebrate the 700th. anniversary of St. Thomas of Hereford, accompanied with original certificates signed by the Bishop of Hereford.
